1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to FocusHuman, an iOS focus and accountability app (the “App”). “FocusHuman,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the provider of the App. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information kept in the App
FocusHuman is designed to work without a user account. Your focus content and routine history are kept on your device. This can include pact titles and settings, selected session length, check-in choices, active-session state and timing, completion and recovery records, relationship-progress data, preferences, and your acknowledgement of legal documents.
We do not receive your pact text, session history, check-in answers, or relationship-progress data through a FocusHuman server.
3. Optional front-camera inspection
Some focus experiences can offer an optional presence inspection. If you choose to use it, the App requests camera permission from iOS. A front-camera frame may be processed on your device using Apple’s on-device vision capabilities to support that inspection. The frame is not stored by FocusHuman and is not uploaded to us or to RevenueCat.
You may decline or later disable camera access in iOS Settings. Camera access is not required to use the core focus timer. FocusHuman does not use the microphone for this feature and does not record audio.
4. Purchases and payment data
Apple processes App Store payments. FocusHuman uses RevenueCat to offer products, verify entitlements, restore purchases, and measure purchase functionality. RevenueCat may receive a randomly generated anonymous App User ID, App Store purchase or receipt information, purchase status, last-seen time, and limited technical information such as device type and operating system.
RevenueCat does not receive your pact text, focus records, check-in answers, or camera frames from FocusHuman. Apple’s and RevenueCat’s own privacy notices govern their handling of information under their services.
5. What FocusHuman does not collect for the App
- We do not require an account, name, email address, contacts, or location.
- We do not use the microphone, show third-party advertising, or sell personal data.
- We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
- We do not upload your local focus content or camera inspection frames.
6. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it in FocusHuman Settings or remove the App. Deleting local data erases the local items described in Section 2, including preferences and legal acknowledgement. It does not cancel an active subscription, revoke a lifetime purchase, or erase transaction records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
You may choose not to grant camera permission, turn ambient audio off in the App, restore purchases, and manage an active subscription through the Apple Account subscription controls. You can remove the App at any time.
7. International use
The App may be available through the App Store in multiple countries. Purchase-related information is handled by Apple and RevenueCat according to their applicable terms and privacy notices. The locally stored App data described above remains on your device unless you choose to remove it.
8. Children
FocusHuman is not directed to children under the age at which they may lawfully consent to digital services in their jurisdiction. Do not use the App if you are not permitted to accept these terms or make App Store purchases.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the App, applicable law, or our practices change. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. For privacy questions or requests, use the support channel shown on the FocusHuman App Store product page.
